10 Tips for Staying Healthy While Traveling

We believe travel, adventure and new experiences are integral to overall Wellbeing! The dilemma….how to travel and keep up your exercise, nutrition and sleep?

Although it may be impossible to replicate your at home routine, with a little extra effort, you can definitely still feel good while away from home. Here are some practices we employ and have found make a big difference. Give them a try or get inspired to create your own Wellbeing While Away protocol so you can feel well and have fun!

1. When possible find a rental with a full kitchen and cook most meals at the rental. We typically only eat out once while on a vacation.

2. Squeeze in a workout or some sort of movement, even if it’s at 4am for 30 minutes, before heading to the airport or jumping in the car and sitting for a long period of time.

3. Pack your O44 tubing, a deflated squish ball and a hip band so you can do the O44 Travel workouts daily.

4. Bring or wear sneakers so you can walk or run while away.

5. Pack travel protein powder packets and travel nut butter packs for the plane and more for the stay if you have room.

6. Hydrate.

7. Bring your supplements.

8. Pack to maintain your sleep routine. This may include your pillow if fits, eye mask, white noise, ear plugs, aromatherapy, magnesium shower gel which could be used in the shower or a bath.

9. Upon arriving head straight to the local grocer to stock up on your staples.

10. Stretch before bed. 



This may seem like a restrictive list and not typically how people think about vacations BUT we need a paradigm shift! There is more fun and enjoyment to be had when you are feeling well!
