RECIPE: Homemade Almond Butter

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Roast raw almonds in a single layer on a baking sheet (as many as the sheet will hold) for 15 minutes, turning (stirring) them once in the middle of cooking.

Roast as long as 20 if you prefer a darker roast almond butter.

After cooling put them in the food processor and blend until it's a smooth creamy texture, stopping and stirring/breaking up the chunks repeatedly.

It takes a solid 10 minutes of processing.
